Dakota's Pony Ranch Quilt

This quilt was made for a 4 year old girl. I found the pony silhouettes on the internet, but you can use any horse or pony shapes you like. The pony blocks, nine patch blocks and the picket fence where all done with a layered stencil technique.

Rooster 'Painting' quilt

This pattern is intricate for a quilt but is well worth the effort once it's done.

I started with the smallest sections and worked up to the large sections.
The Rooster can be done in other color schemes for different effects.

Celtic Knots quilt

My daughter bought the pattern for the claddagh in the center of the quilt from the following website: http://www.celticlady.com/flash/tc-2.html
The rest of the patterns were found here and there on the internet.

The strip in the middle is done in one long piece with the block borders sized to fit

The blocks were all done with a layered stencil technique.
If you are ambitious you could do the border in knots too, but it's pretty labor intensive.

The Cat is in the House - Quilt

This quilt got its start after I drew a simple line style cat. I liked it so much I did several other cat drawings and decided to turn them into a quilt.

I used a tight satin stitch on the sewing machine to embroider the blocks.
